Our guest MC for the entire evening is none other than Carnage the Executioner. \; Carnage is a great friend of&nb sp\; ours and was one of the first to give Junkyard Empire a weekend night at a good venue. \; We owe a lot to him\, so we are really excited abou t having him MC the event. \;

What can we say about El Guant e? \; He might be the best damn slam poet walking in the Twin Citie s right now and he can hold his own on any stage the world over\, far as we 're concerned. \; On top of that\, he's an activist\, educator\, journa list\, and blogger. \; He's our kind of people\; he exemplifies the "re bellion politik" ethic!

Samosa is a wonderful Indian fusion j azz trio\, for lack of a better description\, that is a joy to watch and to listen to. \; Headed up by drummer Neil Wadhawan\, this band melts Ind ian raga jazz\, rock\, and free form improvisation. \; They will start the night off for us. \; It should also be noted that if it wasn't for Neil pestering us to let Brian Susco mix our record Rise of the Wretched\, we would have never met Marc Nicolas\, who ultimately signed us to his labe l MediaRoots Music. \; :)

As if all that was not enough\, we wil l also be debuting our music video! \; Hell\, that's enough by itself r ight? \; Right. \;
